Journey together with three young men from Southern California (Jason Russell, Bobby Bailey, and Laren Poole) as they retrace their struggles and triumphs throughout the past six years in working to end the longest running war in Africa. "The Rescue of Joseph Kony's Child Soldiers" documents their efforts to expose the tragic realities of war-affected regions and educate and inspire individuals in the Western world to use their unique voice for change.

For the past 23 years, the region of central east Africa has been consumed by conflict. Despite a ceasefire called between the LRA and Ugandan government, efforts toward peace were stalled on several occasions by LRA rebel leader Joseph Kony's refusal to sign the final peace agreement. In early 2009, the Ugandan government and surrounding regions launched a military operation intended to defeat the LRA and capture Kony. The LRA retaliated by attacking thousands of civilians, while abducting hundreds of children to fight amongst its ranks. A civil war, originally contained within Uganda's borders, has now evolved into a widespread regional crisis prompting massive international attention. Watch this film to find out how you can help bring this war to an end.

Invisible Children

We are storytellers. We are visionaries, humanitarians, artists, and entrepreneurs. We are individuals part of a generation eager for change and willing to pursue it.

As a non-profit we work to transform apathy into activism. By documenting the lives of those living in regions of conflict and injustice, we hope to educate and inspire individuals in the Western world to use their unique voice for change. Our media creates an opportunity for people to become part of a grassroots movement that intelligently responds to what.s happening in the world.

But our work extends beyond our borders. In war-affected regions we focus on long-term development, working directly with individuals and institutions that are eager to realize their full potential. Through education and innovative economic opportunities, we partner with affected communities and strive to improve the quality of life for individuals living in conflict and post-conflict regions.
